Ros Haywood is the author of the Rainbow Ruby series. This series follows Ruby Halliday and her friend, Scarlett Jones. The books involve quests for a blue ruby, black pearls, a scarlet diamond, a purple opal, and a green garnet, travelling through England, Africa, Australia, South America and time, and meeting magic along the way.
Ros Haywood is a retired librarian, living in the Southwest of England. She enjoys reading, reading, and more reading, and is just about to start working on Indigo Pearl (the seventh book in the Gemstone Girls series).
She is a genealogy and family history enthusiast, writing a blog with currently over 114,000 hits, running seven one-name studies, acting as an Online Parish Clerk, plus conducting a one-place study.
